BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK

Day 3 took us from Capital Reef to "One hell of place to lose a cow" - Bryce Canyon National Park.  The unique, bizarre, red and orange hoodoos invite the wildest of imaginations to come explore this Suessical landscape that sits at a rather high (and cooler!) altitude. Average altitude is 8,000 - 9,000 feet.  Indeed, the air is thinner!

We stayed in a sleepy town just 10 miles from the park's entrance called Tropic.  What a charming, clean, friendly place it was! They even had a small grocery store! And they had a wonderful coffee shop that was run by the friendliest folks from Germany.

We explored the rim and one of the trails that went down into the hoodoos and we all embraced this breathtaking oasis.  There aren't enough adjectives or good photographs to adequately describe this magical spot.

The guys camped in the park in a spot that was just steps away from this most magical scenery.  It ALMOST made me want to join them.  Alas, I'm most fond of a bed INSIDE.

Day 4 we continued our explore of Bryce's beauty.  We headed up the rim, stopping and photographing along the way.  The last stop took us to the most fantastic "Bristlecone Loop" hike.  Oh MY!!!  Definitely my personal favorite explore of our whole trip.  Just plain awesome.

Beyond any shadow of a doubt, Bryce found us all LivinLifeJoyfully!!! And colorfully!
